Saccharomyces boulardii is a micro-organism of non-bacterial origin, which therefore resists the action of antibiotics that act against pathogenic bacteria. Unlike ordinary lactic cultures, which can be partially inhibited by antibiotics, it helps maintain the right balance of gut microbiota, while vitamin B6 supports the natural immune defences.
AxiBoulardi is formulated with a culture strain of documented stability. This means you can use it at any time of the day, on either an empty or a full stomach.
The product's action is guaranteed by the stability of the raw materials, regardless of the time of day at which you take it.

Instructions for use
1-2 capsules a day, swallowed with water, even at the same time as the antibiotic. You can also pour the contents of the capsule into cold or warm liquid.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
As the name suggests, Saccharomyces boulardii belongs to the species Saccharomyces cerevisae, i.e. the same species to which ordinary brewer's yeast belongs.
Unlike brewer's yeast, however, it does not trigger intestinal fermentation, and can be taken by people who suffer from intestinal disorders associated with the consumption of foods containing brewer's yeast.
