Vaginal suppositories which, thanks to a synergistic combination of substances of vegetable origin, such as Lactic Acid, Aloe Vera concentrated, Tea Tree oil and soluble fibre GOS, promote the rebalancing of the vaginal bacterial flora, restoring the well-being and the optimal functionality of the female genital in cases of inflammation associated with candidiasis, mycotic infection or other factors.
CandiNorm has a physiological pH. Without colourants, preservatives and perfume. The vaginal suppositories dissolve completely, without leaving residues or staining underwear.
Medical device CE
Tea tree oil, Aloe vera 200:1 conc., lactic acid, water soluble GOS (galacto-oligosaccharides), colloidal silica, triglycerides. Without colourants and perfume.
Instructions for use
1 suppository per day or according to the prescription, preferably in the evening.
Continue the treatment for 10 consecutive days. For maintenance, use the products in cycles for at least 5 consecutive evenings.
Also suitable for pregnant women.
The health of the genital-urinary system is closely linked with the dynamic (i.e. constantly varying) balance of the species that make up the vaginal microbiota and form an effective barrier against harmful bacteria.
This balance maintains correct vaginal lubrication and pH, with values of between 3.5 and 4.2.
The friendly (eubiotic) bacterial species found in the vagina compete with the unfriendly (pathogenic) bacteria, and exert a protective action, by producing substances such as lactic acid, that prevents an unfavourable imbalance.
If the correct balance is impaired, the vaginal pH changes, creating conditions for the proliferation of harmful bacteria, and leading to vaginosis, vaginitis, candidiasis and other mycoses.
The ingredients of Candinorm act on a range of factors:
the 90% lactic acid solution helps restore the physiological pH of the vagina and inhibits the growth of the micro-organisms responsible for bacterial vaginosis, infections associated with trichomonas vaginalis and candida albicans, and urinary infections (e.g. E.coli);
the 1:200 concentrated extract of aloe vera exerts a lenitive and moisturising action;
the tea tree oil (melaleuca alternifolia) helps resolve the bacterial and mycotic uro-genital inflammation processes often associated with itching, soreness and leakage;
The water-soluble GOS (galacto-oligosaccharides) fibre with prebiotic action helps restore and develop the correct vaginal microbic eco-system, by entering into positive competition with pathogenic microbes.
Numerous clinical studies have shown that vaginal equilibrium is connected with the equilibrium of the gut microbiota.
The onset of intestinal dysbiosis involving the proliferation of pathogenic species (e.g. candida) gradually impairs the eco-system and its pH, and weakens the physiological competitiveness of the eubiotic species.
Intestinal infection can then spread to neighbouring areas.
The anatomy of the female ano-genital tract also explains the ease with which intestinal microbes are transferred to the genital-urinary system.
