Supplements should not be seen as a replacement for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Slowed intestinal transit is one of the most widespread disorders in the industrialised world, especially among women, and it is often associated with haemorrhoids, irritability, discomfort and a sense of bloating.
Correct diet plays a key role in naturally and continuously regulating intestinal function: fruit, vegetables and wholegrain cereals should therefore form part of every meal.
Intestinal transit is also facilitated by moderate but continuous physical activity, with particular reference to the abdominal muscles and correct diaphragmatic breathing. It is also important to drink fluids between meals.
For children we recommend Modulax junior
